How to Choose Crystal Pendant Lights for a Kitchen Island
The problem with island lighting
Stand at a kitchen island under a single ceiling light and you will see the problem straight away. Your own body blocks the beam. You chop in your own shadow, you lean sideways to read a recipe, and at night the whole bench feels dim even though the room is technically lit.
